Pathophysiology

Pathophysiology provides students with an in-depth introduction to the study of disease processes and how illnesses affect the normal functioning of the human body. The course explores the causes, development, and progression of diseases affecting each major body system. Emphasis is placed on understanding how disease alters normal anatomy and physiology, as well as the body's mechanisms for adaptation and recovery.
