Logic I (Kit - 8 pieces)

This course introduces students to logic, reasoning, argumentation, and fallacies. Students study formal and informal logic, inductive and deductive reasoning, Greek philosophers, Aristotle’s modes of persuasion, argumentative dialogue, ethos, pathos, logos, and fallacies of relevance, presumption, clarity, false cause, false analogy, biased statistics, ambiguity, appeals, straw man arguments, and barriers to logical thinking.
